Note the words of Jesus:
Luke 21:22 KJV For these be the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled.

The issue of “the days of vengeance” having been written about by the prophets brings us to the question for the dispensationalist: Where in the writings of the Old Testament are the days of vengeance in AD70 foretold as Jesus said were there? Futurists and dispensationalists claim the Daniel prophecies are not about AD70 at all. When Jesus said these days were “written” about, He meant they were written in the Old Testament. Where do dispensationalists believe these days of AD70 are mentioned and foretold by the prophets? Of all the Old Testament prophecies, AD70 is never stated by dispensationalists to be foretold in the prophecies of the Old Testament. At least I have not heard them say it was. Where are these prophecies?

The dispensationalist claims that the events of AD70 are not “all that” and a bag of chips that preterists make it out to be. Well, the dispensationalist has never provided us with any prophecies from the Old Testament whatsoever that were fulfilled in AD70, although Jesus said otherwise. Futurists take all of the prophecies about Jerusalem’s destruction and claim they are still to be fulfilled in our future as of AD2010.

If dispensationalists were correct, Jesus should not have mentioned anything about the days of vengeance fulfilling prophecies from the Old Testament, because dispensationalists claim there are no such prophecies. If I am incorrect, please let us see a dispensationalist present the prophecies Jesus said would be fulfilled in AD70 according to Luke 21:22.

Matthew 24 and Mark 13 make reference to the abomination of desolation as spoken of by the prophet Daniel. But in Luke 21:22, Jesus stated there are several prophecies that pointed to the city surrounded by armies that would bring a desolation that was fulfilled in AD70 as well. It appears that this is another confirmation that the three Gospel accounts presented one and the same conversation! All accounts show Jesus having stated prophecies were made about this event which was meant to trigger the flight of the believers from Jerusalem and Judaea to the mountains. If the futurist claims Daniel 9 and Daniel 12 were not fulfilled in AD70, then where are the prophecies Jesus referred to in Luke 21:22 that were fulfilled in AD70 when they claim Luke 21’s recorded events came to pass?
